Farmstand Details

We are a seasonal business from April/May to the end of October. Please be aware that farming is highly dependent on good weather and we reserve the right to close early on days where it is unsafe for our workers to be outside or in the farmstand. As such, our hours might not always accurately reflect what's on the website and we appreciate your patience in those matters. Please use the contact page to call ahead if you are making a special trip. Our hours and other special events are listed below.

Like the farmstands of yesteryear, Mayneland Farm is a cash business and does not have the equipment to process credit and debit cards. Please be aware that we can only accept cash or personal checks. Luckily there are many ATMs conveniently located in the area. Receipts can be written upon request.

Mayneland Farm is in compliance with ADA regulations and IL state law and does allow trained service animals (meaning they have undergone and passed specific medical and task training for a disability) into the farm stand. This does not include emotional support or any other untrained service animals. Likewise regular pets, regardless of size, are not allowed into the farm stand and you will be requested to leave them tethered outside in the parking area away from both customers and cars for the safety of both the animal and our shoppers alike. We reserve the right to deny service if we feel your animal is posing a safety threat to our customers. To avoid any misunderstandings, emotional stress, and health issues, please contact us before your visit for our latest policy or to receive special permissions if you depend on an untrained animal . We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Hours & Special Events

Our Spring hours tend to fluctuate due to product availability. Once sweet corn is ready towards the end of July, we switch to a full summer schedule which we keep for the remainder of the year. Additional events or special announcements for particular dates will be listed here on our hours page. Due to the supply of spring veggies, we may be closed if we sell out early. Please call first if you are coming from a long distance to make sure we are open.
